Cody's funny sayings

So Mike had been gone for awhile. He had to spend a couple of days snowmobiling with Gary in Wyoming. He got home and Cody WOULD NOT leave his side. Like literally sat on Mike's lap the entire evening. At one point Mike said "I have to go potty" and Cody was happy to go along with him. Mike was like "really buddy, Daddy has to poop" but that didn't deter Cody. He hauled in one of the pink chairs and played the iPad right next to Mike as Mike did his business. He came out at one point and I said to him "Buddy why are you in there with daddy? Isn't it stinky?" And he says back to me "Uhm. . . .smells like hot dogs!" What kind of hot dogs has he been eating!

Then the next day Mike left for the cruise with Addie. The night before we had all said prayers together and when Mike said by to Kenzie she started to cry because she was going to miss Addie and Daddy so much. That, then, made Addie cry who was already feeling nervous about leaving home for that long. So they are both crying, and I have started to cry. The crying on the girls part lasted a long time. Addie asked Kenzie to stop crying so that she could stop crying and Kenzie said it was just because she was going to miss her so much. Addie said "You know what you can do for me then? You can wait to go see the Lorax (a movie Addie wants to see that she was upset to think that me, Kenzie, and Cody might go to without her) till I get back." Nothing like a little manipulation!

So I took Cody with me to get waxed the following day. The girl I go see has a little room and there was a bench were he could sit right by my head. He sat and played the iPad while I was getting taken care of. She was really fast and it was over before I knew it. As she was leaving she said "I am going to step out so you can get dressed and there are some chocolates right here you can have." She left and I stood up to get dressed and Cody says to me "Mom, she was you bum?" And I said "yes buddy" and he said "Oh. . .put your pants on get me a chocolate!" That kid!

Some of his words: "jer-an-cher-ee" = jolly rancher

Sibbah Sirah = cereal
